My initial post sums up why I am here: to write about five topics I love = family/film/TV/sports/home (repair, organization). I am 36, married for almost 8 years (never had the 7-year-itch and could never conceive of scratching it – I love and desire my wife, she is and always has been “the one”) , father of two beautiful children (ages 5 &2), born & raised in Michigan, lived in Ohio since college. Now go read the blog.

Hey cuz…so happy that you included me. Im SO enjoying your blog… the movie reviews are excellent(my son Brett may add Beerfest and Jackass 2 to the comedy list.Hey,he’s 17!) I ask you, no Mel Brooks?
Only one problem, Im distracted by the little girl/doggy picture….disturbing!!!!

Brett is 17?! Holy cow. Yes, Mel Brooks is not in my collection but needs to be! A lot of his schtick got old to me but “Blazing Saddles” and “Young Frankenstein” are glaring omissions from my collection.
And the picture is a riot! We used to have a Husky that looked identical the one pictured and she would always try to hump our other dogs – she’d literally hop around after them to stay on their back. It was hilarious and yes, I did say “she” was a humper! Can’t wait to see you this summer!!!
